Internal medicine specialist with experience in neurology (stroke)

The stroke department of an internal medicine clinic in Sweden is looking for an internal medicine specialist with experience in neurology to work with stroke patients and patients of general internal medicine.

The unit has approx. 22-24 health care beds, 2 chief physicians and 2 resident doctors. You should be able to work in team, be humble and respect the colleagues, patients and relatives.

The hospital is one of the two fully equipped hospitals in the county. It manages special health and medical care in 25 different medical specialities and serves 170.000 inhabitants, but offers, when necessary, care to all inhabitants in the region. The hospital has about 300 beds and approx. 2400 employees. All employees have their own time for developing competence. There are many opportunities for further training and education.

SALARY & CONDITIONS

• Salary starting from 41.000 SEK gross per month. After obtaining the Swedish license it will be raised to 45.000 SEK. Once you are able to work independently and fully productive it will be 62.000 SEK.

• Full time employment 40 hours per week, Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00-17.00

• Permanent contract after 6 months trial period and obtaining the license.

• On call duties are not relevant during the first 3 years. If it occurs, it will be paid apart.

REQUIREMENTS

• Specialist title in internal medicine and at least 3 years of experience as a specialist.
